On Monday 31st
October 18 children travelled to Townley Grammar School to compete in Bexley’s
annual sports hall athletics’. The competition consisted of five field events
(chest-push, javelin, speed bounce, vertical jump and long jump). Everyone gave
it their all and there were some brilliant scores, we comfortably won 3 events.
Onto the track events, again everyone gave such an impressive display and we
dominated the track events winning 4 out of 8 races. Unfortunately it wasn’t
enough to win overall.
Upland
finished in very respectable 2nd place. Well done everyone!
